TAOBAR is designed with privacy at its core. Your data never leaves your device.

• Information you enter — place names, people's names, descriptors, conversation hooks, usual orders, and notes.
• Profile information — your name and bio (optional).
• Photos — profile photo and people photos you choose to add. Stored locally on your device only.
• Location — used only on-device to find nearby saved places. Never transmitted to our servers.
• Waitlist email — if you sign up at taobar.app, we collect your email address only.

• We do not collect analytics or usage data.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not share your data with third parties.
• We do not store your location on any server.
• We do not run ads.

• All app data (places, people, notes) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
• Deleting the app permanently deletes all your data.
• We have no access to your app data.

• If you join the waitlist at taobar.app, your email is stored securely in our database.
• We use it only to notify you when TAOBAR launches.
• You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@taobar.app.

• TAOBAR requests location permission to power the "I'm Here" feature.
• Location is processed on-device only.
• We never store, transmit, or share your location.
